Chocolate Churro Bar Raspberry Super Smoothie Shake

 

Ingredient List:

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 heaped teaspoon sugar
  • Freeze dried raspberries (small handful for coating glass in only)
  • Long wooden skewers x 2
  • Chocolate Churro Bars x 2
    (Serves 1) 

Method:

Prepare Chocolate Churro Bars 

  1. Remove chocolate churros from deep freeze.  Allow to completely thaw (condensation shall disappear and chocolate churros will change from dark brown to a lighter brown). 
  2. Carefully pierce the bottom of the chocolate churro bar with the skewer stick and thread the skewer stick through the churro to 2cm from the top of the churro.  Do not allow the skewer to penetrate the top of the churro.

Prepare Glass

  1. Place a ribbon around a glass and tie into a bow.
  2. Place a small amount of water in a bowl.  Dip lip of glass into water.
  3. Prepare a small bowl of freeze dried raspberries. Dip wet glass into freeze dried raspberries.
  4. Set the glass down.  Place chocolate churro bars, skewer first, into the glass.

Prepare Smoothie Shake

  1. Blend all ingredients (except freeze dried strawberries) together on high for 1 minute.  When completely smooth, pour into glass.
